WSAP has two types of
membership: institutional and individual.
The latter is open to teachers and
researchers involved in Women's Studies.
Student members of school-based women's
groups are also welcome. Male
applicants should have undergone at least
three gender-sensitivity training in order
to qualify as members.
Membership is renewable yearly. Annual
fee are P500 for institutions, P300 for
regular individual members, and P150 for
students. Regular individual members,
however, may choose to pay a one-time
lifetime membership fee of P2,000. Active
members are entitled to annual issues of
WSAP Newsletter and to selected publications
that WSAP may have acquired for its members.
By mid-2001, WSAP has a total of 400 active
individual members and 14 institutional
